Simply Events featured on Rustic Wedding Chic

I was the coordinator for a wedding last summer that was featured on the popular wedding website, Rustic Wedding Chic!

Zarah and David’s wedding was a beautiful event with Mt Hood looming in the backdrop. The Mt Hood Bed and Breakfast was the perfect venue for the “rustic” style so popular today. Zarah wore a simple, elegant dress that offset her henna drawings on her hands and feet. She carried coral flowers and used burlap and lace on tables.

What makes a wedding “rustic”? Well, start with an outdoor venue, has barns, natural elements and go from there.  Layer on the rustic with lace, burlap, wood. Natural, understated decorations and muted flowers help to keep things look like they are a part of the setting rather than a feature. Personally, I love the rustic style. It sure fits with the Gorge style.
